I had a cracked version to try before I buy. My Steam copy plays easily 10 times better. No FPS drops. I'm sorry but I'm having almost the exact opposite experience you are. EDIT: Since sadly my off hand comment is now the top comment let me elaborate. With the cracked version I was getting complete game crashes every 8 to 10 minutes.

I was getting FPS in the slums around 35 or so. Load times were often in excess of 40 seconds. A few times it was a full minute. Mostly I chalked it up to a poor quality cracked game.

Release Name: Total War WARHAMMER-FULL UNLOCKED Size. Its only the game ripped from the Steam version. We have to wait for a crack that let us play.

But hey, can't complain about something that's free. So I enjoyed the game and I took the risk to purchase it based on this sub and this was the only thread complaining of issues. I don't know how to help you with that. You do what feels right, my friend. I just think that's kind of a shitty way to go through life, doubting everything. Now I'm not saying I have blind trust in these people, but on something as arbitrary as framerate on a game, I have no reason to ask for evidence, because they have no reason to be like 'hehe i'm getting 80fps but i'm gonna tell people I'm getting 40 just because.' I'm not saying people don't do that. It absolutely happens. I just don't see a reason for myself to care about whether or not they're lying about their framerate.
