I am beginning to install Windows 7 in my new HP Pavilion laptop, but a message is trying to instruct me to update Keyboard filters first from the control panel. I updated all the keyboard drivers in the control panel but it says they are already updated. All updates have been done for Vista as well. I am not sure what the difference is between keyboard filters is that I am not yet updated on? Is my keyboard going to be locked if I proceed without updating them?

Hi, I'm in serious problems. I have a HP Pavilion dv1000 and I had to repair the Windows with the boot cd. Everything was good until I tried to sign in, the screen doesn't show anything. Windows does a driver request 'Keyboard Filter' but I haven't that driver so I click the 'Cancel' button, after that, I can't see the Desktop, I just see a blue screen and I can use the mouse, but there's nothing to click for. If I type ctrl + alt + supr I can see the task manager and all the processes are running. The same thing occurs in safe mode. What can I do???
