Just got the chip this afternoon Anyhow, only running at 3.0 right now, doing some testing,etc. Question; PCI Latency, says 8 bits per clock or some weird thing, and defaults to '8'. Can't be right? Also, my cpu temp. Forget it, bios says -2 SG says all kinds of odd things. Core temp says 40c and 31c but never budge? Very strange.

I run my water at 50 to 53f, and only have 1.15v to the cpu at present, but still, temps are very low in bios etc, and core temp? Chipset says 29c and System says 27c. Seems normal, but the cpu temp is way off. Original bios, 10/17 according to Everest, as the screen fly's by to fast at post to see anything Any thoughts? And please, if you could check the PCI Latency, would be a big help.

I did update the bios last night, no change there. Core Temp says I am at 40/42C running at 3600 with 1.21v, (while running Orthos). Makes sense as I do have great water cooling/chilling. I did a Google search as well as DFI global forums, and did not find much as to the pci latency. In my limited Skull, I depict it running 8x8 or 64pci. Used to run that years ago, but not in the last 5 years or so.

Hopefully more info will become available soon as to that. I think I'll run here for awhile with low voltage until the degradation thing comes to terms with the Wolfdales. Ran 6 hours of Orthos last night at 3480,only ran an hour so far at 3600, but will test it better tonight. The Only difference I could see that the new bios did, was to raise my default vcore from 1.015 to 1.8v or so, odd.

I got mine a few days ago and put it in. My chip is running at stock speeds. I had a bit of trouble since apparently I broke one of the clips on the heatsink. It seems to hold well enough with three and some artic silver so I am not worried. It has been folding for a day now and the temps are 53c/49c (cpu/northbridge). The northbridge is always in the upper 40s while the CPU can get to the low 30s when idle.
